LNB location

Hi

I was putting my dish together and when putting the LNB in the holder I noticed that there was some adjustment in how you mount it ie. you can mount it closer to the dish or away from the dish in the holder.

Where should it go or does it make no difference?

Thanks

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Normally somewhere in the middle works best, but you can tweak it later to see if it makes any difference. For the strong European satellites it wont make any difference at all - it only comes into play when you are chasing every ounce of really weak signals.
