X-Line type E lnb

Can anyone please tell me if it’s possible to buy a

SMW X-Line type E LNB in the U.K.

I’ve e-mailed SMW direct, but so far have not had a reply.

Not aware of any UK suppliers, some German shops still have X-Lines, for example -

http://www.gipsbinden-shop.de/all4sa...merkmalIds=w42

It seems you can choose various LOF's there - 9.75/10.6 is the 'E' type I think

Super LNBs - MY XL800B has a noise figure of 0.65dB and will put some of the later universals to shame. Don't use it now, bit of a nuisance to change the LNB parameters on all my STBs

My System: Phoenix Apollo dish 90cm universal lnb

A sincere thankyou to everyone who answered my question.
I have been using the old Chapparal, (in use since 1993), to move the dish and the Fortec Star to view channels.
The SWM lnb is 10.00/11.00ghz 10.95-11.95 11.95-12.75 therefore of limited use.
A Y connector is in use on the television to take the output of the two rxers, and each rxer is tuned to a different tv channel.
After taping a Universal lnb to the prime focus dish and rxing good video/audio from Astra 2 at 28.2E,
I’ve decided to change my dish and motor, and go for an offset dish with universal lnb, and a diseqc motor.

My System: Phoenix Apollo dish 90cm universal lnb

Hello Turok

I threw out my old SWM Xline lnb, as the freq range was not compatible with my digi rxer.
Am now using a universal lnb with a 90cm motorised dish, and a Phoenix rxer.
The results are very good.
Rgds.

Hello Lenww!
what is digrxer?
i know, you must change, the lof a little bit lower,to use the full freqency range,of smw lnbs, not every receiver can do this, for expample, the german dbox 2,with orginal betanova soft, here is imposible to use smw lnbs, because, you cant change, the lof.)

here on board,i found a old topic, with the csp 1210 polarizer conected to this type f smw lnb,so this seems the only lnb, where i can conect,to my polarizer..
i have bought other lnb on Ebay ,but it was old only analog very massive 1,1 db

but this i cant use, maybe smw has newer lnbs,in his programm with the same conector then the type f lnb?
i dont know, coz no one here,in german speaking area, sells smw lnbs...

look the links in this topic, then you see why i need this lnb

My System: Phoenix Apollo dish 90cm universal lnb

Hello agn from Lenww,
the digi rxer is a Phoenix Apollo.
The reason I changed to a universal lnb was because the swm xline did not cover the frequency range required for my receiver.
Sorry I cannot be more helpful.
Best of luck.
Rgds.
