My System: 1.2 m Eurostar dish KU band W3A, 3.7M C band on the arc from Atlantic bird3 to Measat 3, 1.5 m offset on PAS 10 KU, 70cm Offset on Eutelsat W2, 3.4m prodelin prime fibreglass on Intelsat 906 64 Deg E STARTRACK NC707 Plus, Skystar 2 DVB card
Need 180 cm offset dish

I am in Mauritius using a 120 cm offset to receive PAS 10. Since i'm in fringe area I want to upgrade to 180 cm offset. I need information and probable price for this. Even searching thru internet is not easy to find 180 cm unit. I found Only channel master but very expensive for me. Any help.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

patmoss as you are on Mauritius you will either have to find a local supplier and pay whatever cost they determine, or ship one in (at probably vast expense)

In that case a mesh dish would be much much cheaper to transport, why not get a good 2.4m KTI or 3.1m KTI?

I beleive they can be sent by UPS if i am not mistaken.

Problem with a solid dish that size and your location is that the shipping cost will proabaly be higher than the dish itself costs.

I only want to know manufacturers/sellers so that I can have an idea of what is the market price of such a dish. When buying here i would know if i've got a fair deal. Just want to have an idea. Presently this is not available here. One seller told me he would have it in a month time but He cannot give me the price now. To give you an idea I bought a 120cm EUROSTAR( same as FORTEC) for 24 pounds. I estimate that this is a good deal for in other places it is around 45 pounds. I need an idea of price from cheapest to more expensive. I believe the Andrew/ channel master would fall in that category.

This may be expensive. I'll contact him. any idea of its price in Europe?
Is there any cheaper alternative. The big problem with cheaper dishes are their poor mount. But for this I can build one that will be close to prodelin or Andrew.

My System: 1.2M & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.5m Gibertini on a Jaeger 1224 H-H motor. Dreambox 7025 200gb HD, Vbox-II. SS2 Card.

Take a look here, I have had a Channel master mount made.

My home made C/master mount

You could always try a 1.8m Precision dish on a 1224 motor. Its a spun ali dish so may not be too pricey too ship.

Thank for your nice mount. I can't get you when you tell 1.8m precision dish. Is that the make or just the way it was made. I need pics or docs for these dishes.
