Sky UK ftv card reactivation times.

Lst weekend I put a new lnb up for 28E. I happened to have an old subscription card lying around that had been out of a box for months, so I thought I would see if it would reactivate.

This card has not been anywhere near a sky box since its digibox broke months ago (which is why I was given the box in the first place!)

I loaded CCCam 2.0.3 into nabilosat via the blue panel on Sunday afternoon, and shoved the card into the lower slot (chip side down)

I tuned the box to Channel 4 and left it Imagine my surprise when C4 / C4 +1 came back on in only half an hour!

Sky 3 took 2 hours.

C5 and its siblings seemed reluctant to come back, so I left the DB on C5 when I went to work on Monday. Still nothing by Monday evening, so I left it on C5 agaain Tuesday. Well success by the time I got home, and C5 / Five US / US+1 / Life / Life+1 are now fully operational -in 48 hours

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Yes, it should do it, shame it can't be done on the initial activation, it would make life easy. :

My System: relook 400s and SS1 at 28.2E, 19.2E, 13E and 30W

What newcs version did you use, or it was just cccam?

I do that all the time in my relook. Sometimes it takes a few hours and sometimes it takes days.

Just cccam - I automatically installed it using the blue button panel.

Yup I installed v2.0.3 full via the Nabilosat blue panel. No configuration required at all.

You cant first activate a card - that still has to be done in a digibox
