Got an ftv sky card in your DB?

If so check out some of the pay channels - Ive got loads of them available on mine at the moment

(Ex subs card which came out of a scrap box I was given ages ago)

Ive got most of the basic package, most of the sky movies channels, but not sky sports.

Do I have a wacky card or is it a general thing?

The question is, is the Dreambox doing something special, or is just that Sky have slipped up and not done what ever it is they normally do at the end of a subscription?

Im sure this card wasnt semi active like this a couple of weeks ago.

The only thing I can think of is that some ftv cards are being semi reactivated as a teaster to tempt users back

I already subscribe to the family pack have done for 5 years. This card came out of a scrap box I was given and put in the db as an experiment

1) to see if i could get more than 4 lnb's working on it
2) see if i could get ccam working

Getting channels with FTV

So when i get home am i right in thinking that if i put my card into the receiver and use CCcam i may be able to get more than i bargained for?

Just last night i tried E4 and still showing black, so i'm guessing it's only doing it with certain cards. this card i have hasn't had a subscription on it for about 1 and half year now but i managed to get C4,five etc. and sky three since about 3month back.

true. Although i have the 500-s model shouldn't make any difference.

let you know how i get on later. If not i'm sure somebody is selling another one for a few quid i can try it out on.

p.s. i forgot to say, i'll need to edit the CCcam config won't i for the premium channels? or should they just come on automatically?

No config needed.I just loaded it up and stuck the card in. Somewhere in the DB section there my observations of how long it took each of the main FTV channels to come back on.

I havent touched CCCam since and the movies work fine.

didn't work for me but looks like i'll be getting a 6 month old card off somebody for a fiver to test on as the one i have is a mates.

This other card has only just been unsubscribed from so hopefully it may work , if not i can always give my mate his card back and then i have one for the FTV channels you can get anyways, so it's all good .

Probs post back in a few days how i get on but how is everybody else doing with this?
