Enigma web interface tip

OK, so many of you may know about this.

when using the remote control feature on the enigma web interface, it always annoyed me that in the dreambox menu, you couldnt tell were you was, because the selection wasnt highlighted!!

well i have found that using Microsoft IE it doesnt, but today i tried using Mozilla Firefox and it works great!!

i'm glad cos i can manually scan transponder etc, while the kids play on the Xbox

My System: Dreambox 500, Dreambox 600PVR, Dreambox 7025+, Dreambox 7000, 1m dish on a Moteck SG2100

I always use Firefox so I just assumed it worked for everyone. I find it is a little slow updated the picture. Some times it 'forgets' to refresh the image and pressing one the of arrow keys or something you know wont screw anything up makes it refresh the picture again.

it can be slow sometimes, but i do use it alot... because the kids are either playing Pro Evo 2008 or the wife is watching bloody soaps!

using this means i can still access the full functions on the Dreambox.

like today, i wanted to program Fox Turk in, on 42e. its FTA and sometimes has the footy on it.

i scanned transponder on 42e and it still didnt show up?
so i downloaded all roter services and was going to FTP it over using dreambox edit..... but its not on that service list either Grrr

so i looked at lyngsat and manually entered it using the web enigma... hey presto its working

just thinking forward to saturdays games
