My System: Dreambox 800 Nabilo Blackhole v1.0/250 Gig/ Dreambox 500s-(clone) PLi Jade/ Relook 400s 160 Gig-/SifTeam 1.93 e enigma Foretec 90cm Dish with Nikkai Diseqc Motor- 2 sky+ receivers fixed 28.2 east. |
has anyone else tried Epg Evolution. I have put it on tonight and I like it. Freely available on the net. just google it and download.  | ||

My System: Dreambox 7000S + motorised 80cm dish, Amstrad DRX550 Digibox + fixed dish | Good tip, I found it here: h**p://epg.evolution.project-x.us/ The EPG only works on a limited number of service providers but that includes Sky UK. My initial impression is that it is a very nice piece of software and useful for programming timer events on channels like the BBC. | ||

My System: DM600 pvr 120gig ide hard drive | I have installed this and it works great for fta channels but has no listings for sky's own channels, ie movies,sports sky one ect ect Is this normal or have i done something wrong? | ||

My System: DM600 pvr 120gig ide hard drive | Have done a bit of reading up and found this- Seems like alot channels is removed from the xml source _http://www.bleb.org/tv/data/listings/0/ thats why epg missing on some channels.. Working Sky UK channel list: BBC 1 London (English) BBC 2 England (English) BBC Four (English) BBC News 24 (English) BBC Parliament (English) BBC Three (English) CBBC Channel (English) CBeebies (English) Channel 4 (English) Dave (English) E4 (English) Film4 (English) Five (English) Five US (English) Ideal World (English) More4 (English) QVC (English) Sky Sports News (English) Sky Three (English) TMF (English) Virgin 1 (English) So it seems only the above channels will work on this plugin  If anyone knows of a decent epg for sky uk plse post below as i thought this was the answer to what i was looking for but now i guess it isnt | ||

Otherwise maybe we can reconfigure EPG Evolution to pull its data from the RadioTimes website instead? | |||

| ive used wiki with pli tried to get this to work but no go anybody got this to work on pli jade- sqlite database? dm500 enigma1? please tel me how, mount working 100% but only std epg working ie 2 programs thanks foz | ||

My System: Dreambox with PLi-Emerald 1.09 image, Matrix revolution CAS, newcamd emu, movable dish 0.85 m, very happy indeed | might not work on a DM500 because of lack of memory. have you : - activated the sqlite database in setup ? - installed the epg plugin ? - mapped all epg channels to your available channels ? (yellow button) - activated cron in setup ? - activated epg script to run with cron ? (also yellow button) warning : enigma will crash if the sqlite database grows too big, so start with only a few channels and expand while everything keeps working. | ||

My System: itgate 220 dreambox 8000 hd pc runnuing windows vista | i i have installed this and when it comes on to the epg view it doesnt give me any listings at all on any channels why is this it just says no programdata found. it shows the correct time and date. to install this i copied the extepg.cfg and the extepg.so files to /var/tuxbox/plugins i then rebooted the box. my box is connected to my wireless lan router and connects to the internet ok but i dont understand why the epg isnt working as it should thanks | ||

My System: Dreambox with PLi-Emerald 1.09 image, Matrix revolution CAS, newcamd emu, movable dish 0.85 m, very happy indeed | I think it needs a bit more than just copying and rebooting ! you need to install the plugin from the PLi downloads menu, and then you need to configure it (select the scripts to run and map the corresponding channels). Only then will it work correctly. it's all pretty straight-foreward really, but you need to execute all the necessary steps : PLi epg setup - cron - install plugin - configure plugin - wait for first run. | ||

My System: Dreambox 500 S, Eutelsat W3A and Intelsat 7 & 10, Sirius 4.8E, Telstar 12 | JTA is talking about a different thing altogether! As far as my little knowledge can take me! EPG-Evolution works with a certain number of preset providers ... Otherwise you will just get "Programdata Not Found" What JTA is talking about is how to get the normal EPG Gui that comes with your image to display the info. And in my case PLI, it works perfectly, but I do not like it, If I could fiddle with EPG-Evolution I would!
