Testing New White Sly UK Card - CAID 963

hello all , been following thread for a while now. i am using dm500 and cccam 2.11 and newcs 1.66. using pli jade2. i downloaded the programs and used b16mcc config creator. i added the 2 nlines too cccam config. then i go to 192.168.0.60:8080 and it brings up the newcs home page. the question now is how do i share with my other box which has ip if 192.168.0.50. the other box has pli jade3 and cccam.
i need to know what lines i add and what config they go into?
do i add them to cccam config or newcs config?
how do i know if the new white card is been read ok?
How do i know if cccam and newcs are connecting to each other?

Thanks for trying m8 it is very interesting way external card reader can not read the card but the internal can.

I have just got hold of a smago and not having much luck with it (vm debian server) I keep having to pull it out push it it seeems so hit and miss to get it to work with cccam

I have a tm 600 would I be able to get the usb to serial working on it what are the steps so I can Have a play

Its very hit and miss getting a DM600 to work with an external card reader.

I gave up with mine in the end and have got another DM7020 so i can use the second card. picking it up on Saturday

The problem i have had with mine is that if the reader is connected at reboot the box refuses to boot up and after you connect it after the box has started to boot sometimes it sees it sometimes it doesn't

Complete waste of time in my opinion, its too much hassle. I know the problem isn't with the reader as it works fine with my 500s.

you need to create a new user in the newcs.cfg and then the appropriate N line in the second boxes cccam config. Its pretty much the same you did to get the first box working. In both cases newcs acts as a server to cccam. If it's reading ok you will see your channels and you wont be able to fry n egg on your card. You will be able to see the connection with cccaminfophp.

copy and paste last user
then change name to what ever you want

can some of you guys take a look at these configs for me and tell me what u think. iam totally lost. in cccaminfo newcs is always offline. i can see users in the newcs we interface page but they are all offline. the problem appears to be that newcs and cccam are not communicating. i have opened ports 10000 and 10001 in my router. the dm 500s ip is 192.168.0.60. i can ping the lines from cccaminfo ok.

Lads I have been playing about all night with Relook 400 running enigma, I have been editiing and re editing the newcs xml file with various settings from lots of users on lots of forums, just to see if I can cut down the freezes to a bare minium. One thing is clear, the ecm times on these cards is much quicker than the blues, so I hope the cam developers can get them running perfect.

What i did find out is that almost all the xml settings I used produced the same results, they all run perfect for a few minutes then they seem to continuosly freeze for 15-20 seconds then run ok again.

And now the strangest finding, My box runs smoothest with the boxkey removed from the xml. It is still freezing but only about once every ten minutes but it is correcting itself quicker than if the boxkey is in the file and is much less intrusive to viewing.

Can anyone explain my findings? Im off for a couple of hours kip

Guys, what I'd like to do is produce a tutorial video. I would do this in the form of recording my entire desktop with audio in my dumb ass northern english accent !. I'll show how to setup NewCS and how to add new users. I'll also explain how to share with CCcam users. Would this be of use to anyone ? Please let me know and I'll see if I can do something about it. Please bare in mind the video will be specific to sly uk in a Dreambox.

try this,change <user> as follows,works for me!

Then in Cccam;

Very interesting info mate, thanks for that. When you put the card in the sky box for 3 days did you leave it on any particular channel ? if so which one, or did you try different channels at different times ?

freddy you dont need any ports open in your router all it does allows you to view your info on stb

Password should not matter but yes you can leave to what you want

I have Newcs running at the moment and its perfect and i mean no freeze no glitches if all users use N lines.

The problem is with CCcam whenever I use CCcam it freezes every ten minutes. So really if you want freeze free users you have to give them N lines but you can't limit the reshares only the rate of ecm's.

I had this with my blue card low ecms but sort of spikes with cccam however I am testing the white card ultra low ecms and now freezes fingers crossed it probably **** up now

It was set on sky1, to best catch ecm updates.

I thought within 3 days there would be enough EMM's to wake the card up..

I guess not, I don't believe anyone has had this issue before..

However, as stated it was rock solid with my settings - only that issue with the card going to sleep.

Well I seem to have it working perfectly now on local box and sharing to other boxes on home network, with Clines and its not freezing. The ecm time is real low,0.089 on Setanta Ireland is the best I have managed, channel zapping is instant, no lag at all. On the boxes connected with clines they are showing hop2 and ecm time is around 0.122.

I am not completely confident with Newcs yet and I just edited my Xml file, tried it, edited a bit more, would one of you kind chaps have a look at it and see if i need to add or remove anything.

I have it set for the top cardreader, I added my name and password through newcs management in the web browser.
