My System: eagle linux reciever, card share |
Hi all, i would like to mount a folder on my pc to my dreambox so that i can transfer a plugin onto the box. The folder i have created is on the root of my C drive named 'dreambox'. I have right clicked the file, properties and have enabled sharing. I made sure the share was working by accessing the folder over the network on another laptop. after confirming the things on the pc side were correct, i went onto the dreambox. went on menu > setup > expert setup > communication setup > press blue (for mounts). In this screen i have inputted the following settings: IP: 192.168.0.3 CIFS Dir: dreambox LocalDir: \ Options: rw,soft, udp, nolock Extra: nolock,rsize=8192,wsize=8192 User: ***** Pass: ****** Automount is checked I then save these settings and press green to start mounting. Then this error pops up: "CIFS mount error already mounted" when i press red for unmount, a message pops up saying, "CIFS unmount '/' OK!" I am confused. What am i doing wrong?

My System: Dreambox 500+; Echostar 770 (Strong 6155); 90cm Triax dish; Strong DM2100 diseqc motor. |
Don't pay any attention to the warning "CIFS mount error already mounted". Try to record something and if you can, then your monut is OK. Another way of checking is: If you can access your folder on PC by choosing /hdd on your dreambox, it is also OK.

Does this exist on your Dreambox: 192.168.0.3/dreambox /hdd Try changing Dir: dreambox to Dir: hdd (might be media/hdd)
