sky epg on the db

I was ganna ask this on the nabilo forum but looks like it's down.

I've just decided to start using darkstar2 nabilo image on my dm7020. I've seen the nabilo scheduler which i presume is the cron. I've set it to restart the emu (cccam in my case) at a certain time and it works ok, the only problem is, is that it doesn't read the my local sky card automatically, i've got to restart it manually again. Is there any solution to this?

Also i've read that it quite easy to use skyuk epg on this image, that it loads the info from radio times automatically or something but i don't seem to find a plugin or anything on the image that does this. Am i missing something?

Cheers guys!

My System: Dreambox 7020si,SIF 1.9.4- Dreambox 800HD Nabilo BH 0.12 Netgear adsl router, 98cm Funkee on Diseqc motor, Maintaining Hummy 5400 for the old man!

The epg part is easy just follow this link As for CCcam that is strange, the only thing I can tell you is that I use SIF image on my 7020 and never need to restart it.

Maybe you need to find out why you need to restart it every day ?

Unfortunately, EPG-Evolution is not an option any more. (At least not an easy option).

EPG Evolution server closed down.

Yes, the last of the EPG data ran out on Sunday evening. The developer has released his code, so I hope to take a look at it at some stage.

@k0103707: As far as I know, the nabilo EPG solution is only available on the Enigma2 images.

That's a petty, looks like that would have solved it.

Any other good options?

Also if i reboot the db automatically using the nabilo scheduler the same thing happens, it doesn't load up my local sky card, strange stuff, i've got to restart cccam for it to show up and work.

Do any of guys get picture distortions now and then on the skyuk channels only? Not related to ecm times.

When viewing UK channels with the local card I get no viewing problems at all.

Another option for epg is week epg by Maxz4 I have to be honest and say I have not had much success in the past but maybe now I will look a little closer.

How about this one guys _http://www.crossepg.com/

I use it on my DM800, it updates a full week epg through the hiphop channel although I have had a problem with a couple of channels it generally works well.

Try it out and let me know what you think! Ive never seen it mentioned on this forum but I'll be intersted in other peoples results

enigma 2 only, 7020 is enigma1.

That looks to be the same solution as nabilo use in their enigma2 images except it is in its own application

It seems as though the plugin is for enigma2 and not enigma1 which is what i have.

Looks like there isn't much of a solution for enigma1.

Oh well! Thank you for trying!

yes sorry it is e2 only and yes you are right about it being the same solution as nabilo use but in has lots of auto settings and downloads the weeks epg in just a couple of mins where as the BH image takes a lot longer

My System: Dreambox 7020 with 120 gig hard-drive disk - running a motorised dish DM800 +DM600 +DM500 although only usually the 7020 and 800 are both on.

Also looking for any solutions to evolution-epg disappearing.

Would love something similar,

Here is hoping that it gets picked up by a new dev.

One of the best plugins on the Dream.
