Strange problems when recording

Hi!

I have had my dreambox600 with an installed IBM Travelstar for more than two years and i have been very happy with its performance so far. Up until the few days it is. I usually record football matches for me or my friends when we are not able to see them live. It has never been any problems, but a few weeks ago, my friend said it just didnt work. There were no files when he accessed the FTP. When i came home and turned on the TV a message was on screen:

"Record failed du to an write error during recordning. Check file system for corruption"

So i did the diskcheck and it reported no errors. So i just did a reformat. Still didn't work. However, the strange thing is i could access and add files to the drive from windows with no problems. Also, I accesed the dreambox via Telnet and checked the permissions on the folders there and they were all fine. Also, when i try to go to File Mode, the screen is just blank and nothing happens.

I have a dreambox 600 but i don't think this is the issue here.

If anyone has encountered this problem, or have any ideas on what to do, i would be very grateful.

Although i tried everything, it didn't try the most basic thing.

A reebot solved it.
