Has anyone else had thier old blue Sky UK (0961) cards knocked off?

Hi,
Today I noticed that my old blue Sky UK (0961)card has been switched off.

Last time I checked a few days ago, the card had its entitlements updated till early January 2010, so I was surprised to see it had been switched off.

I was using it in a DM600 under CCcam. I've had the new white card for a few months now, but had not put it into a receiver.

I was just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat?

Yep mines gone too. 0963 working fine.

All my blues off now too and daughter been on the phone. "dad my dreambox is only showing free channels now" lol. She had one of my old blues.

Hope we get a cam update soon, think its gonna be sooner rather than l8r that the sky italia counter measures are implemented with the new 963s too.

If anyones is still working you may wanna think of blocking your updates in cccam.cfg. You should have entitlements till end of December now.

very strangem,my yellow house card was swtiched off early in middle of august!
maybe exact at the moment,where the new white card has been activated?
or does it also happens,that both cards runing at the same time?

rest in peace yellow house card,we miss you so much,like the old blue sky card also!

i have been running both and still am, entitlements till dec.

Turok, when you activated your white card was your box connected to the phone line. The box phones home to confirm the card change and kills the old card instantly.

no in Austria,we have no phone line for Sky, to dial the nesersary number thats sometimes a real big problem

Many thanks to you all for the warning. I now have EMMs disabled on the blue card, and am still good through xmas (if it lasts that long - I'm guessing sky's gonna pull the plug on 0961 really soon...)

Blue still working here.

Got white early September, authorised it and put it in Pace. Blocked EMMs on blue and left it in DM500. It worked for two months until entitlements ran out early November.

Turned EMMs on again for two days. All entitlements updated to early Jan 2010.

Perhaps there a time limit - I've had white for only two months. Perhaps they allow something like 4 or 5 or 6 months before they block the blue. Can people post time they have had the white to see if this time limit theory holds up.

I have a long standing and very reliable share for Setanta Ireland and its still working fine on 0961.

The new white card arrived here on July 7th. So its been almost 4 months since it arrived.

what is the reason that the new white card,only works on one stb,and the old yellow house card on every sky box?
looks like the have system problems,around one week ago,i got the massage wrong card inserted!
every time when this happens,you have to called the hotline!

thats unneccsarry provision of employment for the hotline workers..

My blues all worked till the latest updaate on the whites. After this they all died within 24 hours

Is that correct for blocking emm im using dm500 2.1.0 cccam my entitlements are upto 6 jan now but for last day its only been showing ecm's & emm about 1 or 2.

Your situation is a little different than mine. My white card has yet to be activated, so has never had any updates. Still the blue card is dead.
