Unhappy Null Modem - Com ports

Hiya all. Was wondering if anyone can help.
My pc is quite new and therefore has no 25pin com ports. So can I use a 9 pin to 9 pin cable and then just attach a null modem adaptor and then attach a female to female normal adaptor just so I can plug the thing in.

Anyone know if I can attach a null modem to the printer port?

Thanks

I'm a Mac man but I am sure the printer port is parallel and the null modem is serial so
It doesn't compute.
The null modem - female plug at each end - should just plug into the male PC and DB serial sockets.

Exclamation I guess So

You should probably check the manufacturers website etc.

But I would of thought that the system would see it as a com port otherwise it couldnt work?
