Multivision 1-7 with mgcamd

We are on a roll now, there is a new mgcamd bin dated 24/11 that clears the TPS channels. Instructions, etc. can be found over at toes place.

Only thing of note is it can take ~30secs after a channel change to clear the channel, so if its blank to start with, wait...

You can only clear with a Dragon CAM, or a Dreambox at the moment, others will follow as they are developed.

I will however point out, that you should not be joining in this thread, as it is regarding Dreamboxes, your post should either be in the Viaccess section, Magic CAM section or the Receiver Software upgrade section.

Please only post in appropriate section, otherwise the forums becomes a mess and difficult to search.

Did you have mgcamd installed to start with?
If not, then download it via the green button, and THEN replace the mgcamd.

Only issue I have with that is that SCAM and NEWCAMD seem to interact in some way, causing NEWCAMD to no longer display video after a while, until you reboot the box.
Has anyone else seem similar, or does the new version "cure" this?

Same here, no prob. just updates files in /var/scce and /var/keys, tho I thing the /keys update isnt necessary for newcamd.

For interest, I now have an airport extreme (Apple white mushroom wifi relay - iPod styling) plugged into DB. I connect to this from Mac G4, and download files by ftp rather than blue/green buttons. G4 also connects to dsl D-link wireless to get files. DB is supposed to link thru extreme to D-link but I havent got settings right for this yet. It should work by bridging.
