Question Difference between Dreambox and triple dragon?

Hi. I just killed my 7000 by attempting to replace a dead tuner so I basically need to buy a new one. (if anybody needs the mobo for spares, make me an offer . The bit where the tuner goes is rather damaged)

I've come across the triple dragon and wondered what the difference between DB and TD is. Anyone?

Thanks in advance.

It's all a matter of preference -both Linux boxes, Dreambox might have better support as it was first off the blocks, but personally I went for the TD originally because of the build quality and better sensitivity tuner than the 7000.

Adequate support now for the TD, wouldn't be without mine.

Thanks Llew. I think's that's made my mind up. My experience with the DB 7000 was not very good. Kept freezing every other day and after only 6months the tuner died. Build quality wasn't so good either.

So I take it you can pretty much do the same things on a TD with regards to keys, updates, etc. Am I correct?

Yes mate, keys fit both locks, so to speak

Any help you need, check out the TD section here.
