My System: 85cm transparent dish 0.2db lnb titanium wf100 cable dreambox500s technomate 9100 linux Eaglebox UK nds card | so you have the following in your web browser:- _http://your.dreambox.ip:16001/ I presume you are using cccam emu? if so, check to see that in your cccam.cfg file you indeed have port 16001 selected for webinfo. (this should be the default port anyway)

My System: Dreambox 8000 HD PVR, 80cm Dish, 1.2 Compatible Motor, Quad LNB, Porty TV, Yamaha RX-V765 Amplifier, Tannoy Mercury FC Centre Speaker, 2 x Tannoy F1 Custom Speakers, 2 x Tannoy FR Custom Speakers, EPOS ELS Sub Woofer | ok firstly CCcam config doesn't read port 80. the config's fdefault setting of port 12000 is fine (aslong as you only have 1 box in your house, otherwise you may need to change this). to locate the config file you do not log into the box through HTTP, you need to log into the box through FTP instead. If you are on IE6 then simply fire up the browser and type in ftp://yourdreamboxip and then log into the box. If you use IE7 then type ftp://yourdreamboxip in the address bar in my computer. Do not use firefox as firefox's ftp act's differently. Once you are logged into the box go to the /var/etc folder, here you will find the cccam.cfg file. Copy and paste it onto your desktop and then open it up in a program such as wordpad or notepad++. (do not open the file using normal notepad as it will appear as 1 long string) Next edit what you need in the config and then upload back to the box, restart the cam on dreambox and your away. p.s. make sure you forwarded port 12000 in your router, if you haven't done this then forward the port to your dreambox ip.

My System: Dreambox 500S & 7020s. Technomate 9100 & 1500. Force frontier fixed, Raven 90 fixed, Triax 90 motorised dish. Diablo & dragon cams. | Hi mate, If I understand you correctly, you can log in using a ftp program using the lan ip address and user/password. But not in internet browser. How is your dreambox connected? If through a router maybe a firewall is blocking it. Does the gemini download server work for yor (via blue button)? Also, when you say you cannot log in do you get as far as the log in panel, and have you tried just putting in the internal address only in the address bar (not starting with http/). Regards, Ollie

My System: DM500 XP Home E | Hi mate, My Dream Box is connected through a Siemens SpeedStream gateway - router which feeds one PC and the dreambox by ethernet a three laptops wirless. the laptops are off most of the time. I can get the gemini download server through the blue panel - Catalogue Once I try to log through EI 6 on this PC it requests the user and password. then it stops midway with an empty explorer window even if i wait more than 15 min. Checking connection through Dreambox Edit is sucessful. DreamBox Manager suite test connection gets me the gemini version installed. But i can advance no further. IHAD Gemini Manager search gets me the IP and sometime recognizes the dreamboxip as BOX and sometime not. When recoginzed I try to get the gemini version info without success and i also progress no further. I tried to use ip address in IE without http and it reacts the same. It is worth noting that for the purpose of understanding what is going one i have an original gemini image I would genuinely appreciate your help as my a little bit more than basic knowledge in PCs is not helpingg me through. Regards

Blog Entries: 1 My System: DM7020S ~ DM500s ~ sg2100 ~ Gemini ![]() If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots | You are using the same username and password in the authentication boxes from IE? Have you tried with your firewall (if you have one) disabled on your PC? Have you tried with Firefox? DreamboxEdit, IHAD Manager, DreamBox Manager- some connect, some don't? All from the same PC?

| Try changing the IP of the box until you get one that your web browser can accept. The IP has to be within the range for PC, router and STB. | ||
