My System: DM800 - Nabilosat v0.8 AG / DM500 - Gemini 4.2 / XSAT 430 / Xcruiser 250 / H-H Motek 2100A / 1m Dish / SATS: 146E, 138E, 134E, 122.2E, 108E, 95E, 75E
Symbol Rate Scanning?

Is there a plugin to get the DM500 to scann for all Symbol rates? I notice that I could not pick up any transponders or channels when i tried to scan Eutelsat W5 at 70.5E. once i started to do manual scans inputting different Symbol rates and matching frequencies I was able to get the lock on and was able to pick up the channels. This is very different from my X-Cruiser 250 which seems to pick up anything and everything once you press the "blind scan" button. Is there a plug in that makes the DM500 do a blind scan?

TQ

My System: I bet on red. If I lose, I double the bet on red again. I continue with this until I lost everything.

Muhuhuhahahahahaaaaarrrgggh

Hmm, I am not sure there is such a plugin, but really you should use the satellites.xml update utility that is available on the Gemini images. That way you will have all the latest transponders and symbol rates for whichever sat you are looking for. (just remember to backup your channel list beforehand using the dreamboxedit program).
