My System: Laptop with shared connected to switch connected to box |
I recently boaght Dreambox 500s, I tried flashing a new img file downloaded from a link on this site using a tool on this site,( not being familiar with Linux) the img file uploaded succesfuly. I rebooted the box, and nothing happened, not it wont come on or even connect through to my PC. Any info of how to restore or upload uncorrupt img. | ||

Do you know which image version you flashed? Gemini version 3.1 disabled cloned 500S. My guess is that you have a cloned box as there haven't been any originals for sometime. Try to unplug the power cord and then plug it again and see what happens. If your box doesn't recover, then search for the solution using JTAG, a thread initiated by mhku.
