Hello World, I have a clone d500 (nobody's perfect) and wonder where I could found latest working image for box. I didn't upgrade it since 1 year so please help me find a gemini or nabilo working image that will not scrap my box I already ask my best friend google but it seems that he forget about dreambox these time thanks a lot gurus see u | ||

The Gemini image that had the "virus" was version 4.3.1 So anything before that should be safe. But don't take my word for it. Be absolutely sure before you flash. Remember that you will be updating at your own risk. Good luck.  | |||

My System: Dream7020 and AZ Elite | Also try something else than Gemini Try Nabilo, older Gemini are hard to find and use as they are often deleted when a new version is up. I wouldnīt trust gemin and clones  so my advice is Get something else - there are many good files to test | ||

My System: Dreambox 8000 HD PVR, 80cm Dish, 1.2 Compatible Motor, Quad LNB, Porty TV, Yamaha RX-V765 Amplifier, Tannoy Mercury FC Centre Speaker, 2 x Tannoy F1 Custom Speakers, 2 x Tannoy FR Custom Speakers, EPOS ELS Sub Woofer | don't use latest working images on clone boxes. The actual company who makes original dreamboxes are the people who release the latest drivers. They can easilly add a script like in gemini 4.3.1 to corrupt your boot loader like they did last time. You best off using gemini 4.30 or a previous version, if other image developers start using these new drivers, you will probably get the same effects. I however don't have a clue if other image developers use what drivers, so it's a gamble. | ||

Works a treat. Would use it even if it were not a clone. | ||

My System: Inetbox 300s, Nabilo v0.8 installed, Motorized system with 1.20 dish | As dig deep says, try nabilo image v0.8 maxvar.. It`s a bit older, but working perfectly at my inetbox. With proper emu/keys, you can watch most of pay tv packages.... | ||

My System: just new , i have a 1meter dish, connected to open media twin unit (cable/sat)and this moment am a ladder fiend ,my wife sends meals up to me via pigeon but im loving the learning curve | to be honest there are a few more out there .theres a new neutrino image also a new enigma one too ,i have on mine a nabilosat one which is perfect | ||

My System: Dream7020 and AZ Elite | Good work mates Let us tell the Gemini team that they are not ruling the Dreambox world (Just to be sure, this is my opinion, not sure that it is the Satellitīs) I can understand that the Dreambox team donīt like the clones but IT show that U can make then cheaper and I donīt think that it is a fair thing to do, killing the clones by hiding a bootloader killer in the image. It will only harm the buyers and NEVER the makers. They will survive Again I press that this is MY opinion and mine only ! | ||

is that its not the Gemini Team that put the bootloader killer in the image. It is hidden in the drivers in the CVS image. (all images build on CVS images) These drivers are licensed software from DMM. It is DMM's property, made for Dreamboxes only. They are not open source. A clone is NOT a Dreambox, its only a copy... And one more question, who has made this hobby what it is today? Its DMM's software... I just say: Support the future of this hobby, get a genuine Dreambox... | |||

My System: Dreambox 500S | Nabilo is very nice in graphics and user friendly too. i am using it since long now and tested all other images but this has more features. its OSD gives much more info than even Gemini. | ||

My System: Dreambox 7020si, Technomate TM600, Technomate TM9100 Fracarro Penta 85 Dish, Televes 0.6dB Quad lnb, TM SG2200 motor. 60cm Channel Master BSB dish on 28e, Mti Blueline 0.2db Twin Lnb. Rover ST-4 Meter Cyfra+ Subscription | There are loads of images for the 500 in the downloads section of _www.cccamforum.com. My favorite for the 500 which isn't that well know is the Powerboard images -http://www.pb-powerboard.com With regards to the Gemini image version 4.2 works fine on a clone I don't really want to go into this argument again as i was one of those affected. At the time i was furious although now i accept what DMM did and i fully support their actions  Without a doubt Gemini is probably the most stable image going at the moment so i fully support them.
