Thanks for reading this hope someone can help. I have a D500 with a Gemini 3.4 image and am thinking of reflashing to the new 4.5 version. My motor was positioned by a satellite specialist and therefore all the positions have been manually inputed (goto x doesn't pick up any satellites) I have tried setting up new positions with very little success. Is it possible to copy the satellite positions from my box and then recopy them back when I have reflashed the box? ie is there a file where these positions are stored on the box. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Why do you want to "upgrade" to the latest version of Gemini? Is your current version stable?

My System: Dreambox 500S, 24/7 BT Router and Windows XP PC. Plus Setanta (UK) | Thanks for the info. The box is a genuine D500 bought about 18months ago. Over the year it has become very cluttered with old emu's, plugins skins etc. so I thought reflashing to a 'clean' new image would be the best option. It has also started a really annoying thing of the picture going all 'jittery' after being on the same channel for about 45 minutes (goes away if you change channel then back to the one you were watching)

I also reflash every few months when I get weird behaviour like the remote does what it is not supposed to do. I think that you would need to do the setup again, unfortunately. Good Luck

When you reflash make sure you know where the dish is pointing- it can be very frustrating rescanning, and gotoXX doesn't work on a DM500s.
