Well, it is a bit difficult to know what happened. If you type your dreambox IP address, for instance 192.168.0.5 into your web browser, do you get connected? If yes, try clicking on "control" and "screenshot", you will then be asked for a password.

Just remember that in the WORST condition, where you cannot connect to the dreambox by LAN you can always reflash a fresh image using Null Modem cable, this will restore everythiong back to standard.

If you had made a backup of your existing working image you could then load that one to the dreambox.

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

If i login with FTP and copy all files
How can you do that without the password?

There is a method to reset the password if you install Tuxbox commander:

If you are worried about your channel list, use the dreamboxedit program to save them to your PC, after you put in a new image you can load them back on. In the Idiot Guide there is a description of the program.

If you use flashwizard to backup your image you can load it to any other dreambox of the same model, using the FW, and it will be exactly the same.

All the rest, such as keys and plugins etc you can then download and install from the usual places.

If you have some special scripts or configs, simply save them to your pc using FTP and then you can reinstall them later.

Ok another explain:

I know how to change my password and actually i know my password the problem is that i cannot login in FTP.
Thank you T_G but i cannot connect with dreamboxedit because it says password is not correct, why in web browser is OK and in dreamboxedit no ?
I login from http://192.168.1.102 (DB IP) and it ask me for password and when i press password its OK and i can control DB but in Dreamboxedit and FTP softwares NOOO >> this is why the problem is unblelievable !!

Well Vendim, just put in a new image...maybe the existing image is corrupted. With a null modem cable you will be up and running in 10 minutes, no use spending time to try to fix it. If you haven't got your channel list saved, you could either re-scan, or download a set of settings (there are quite a few places that offer complete sets of settings (channels). And don't forget, once you are back running always backup your settings and images.
