hellow to everyone, Since few mins i am getting a strange problem on my dreambox 500,when i turn on my dreambox, s wizard appears that asks me to choose tv system and then language but when i choose time zone( meaning to say that after time zone setup) the reciever goes back to the previous setup wizard that asks me again to choose a tv system wizard help!!! what is happening, can anyone help me!! i cannot go further than those 3 wizards!! Thnx in advance | ||

Blog Entries: 1 My System: DM7020S ~ DM500s ~ sg2100 ~ Gemini  If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots | Have you disconnected the power supply for 60 seconds and tried again? Have you recently flashed it? Can you connect to it using Telent or FTP? Welcome to the forum  | ||

thanks for replying, i disconnected everything and waited for an hour and re plugged it, but the screen display the same 3 wizard ,tv-system, language and time, and repeats again and again, because the dreambox is still in setup wizard and its not yet started i cant connect via ftp or telnet as i dont know what ip is being used by it? what to do | ||

As it's unusable I suggest reflashing it using a null modem cable and making sure you have the correct version of the flashing software (whose name I've forgotten). | ||
