Dreambox Clone help please

Hey guys noob needing some major help please!

I tried to flash my dreambox clone earlier. Everything went well until the box froze. I reset the box and now now all I get is a green light on the box and no signal on the tele.

I've tried using dream up and a null cable. The software says box is connected but when I power the box up the software doesn't do anything!

Thanks in advance

Sorry, I can't help you if the box isn't communicating.
Think of it as a good source for parts if you buy another similar box.

Lincsat.Beta7.25-Full.2x.301108 is for cable receivers. If thats what you own we cannot help you any further as cable discussion of any kind is strictly forbidden here.

If you have a sat box then try a nabilosat image or something similar

Is your Clone a DM500S? If so then simply use the serial cable and Dream Up software to reflash the box with a stable image, such as GP 4.2. try googling this: "Gemini_420_DM500_17122007.img". (but DO NOT GO to any GP Image above 4.2 as you may initiate the "time bomb" on your clone). Once you have installed the GP 4.2 image then set up the box using the help guide of dummies. First you will need to install a CCCAM using the Gemini Download option under the DM500 Blue Panel and "Addons". You need an internet connection to the DM500 to do this. Then you need to configure your CCCAM.cfg file to allow any "shares" that you may be entitled to. Also install the "CCcaminfo" pluggin also available from the Gemini download menu on the DM500S.

Reflash your DM500S box using Dream-up software and a stable image such as "Gemini_420_DM500_17122007.img" (google for it).

Then connect your DM500S to the internet and set up the box to your required settings. (Connection settings to be enabled for your network).

Using the BLUE PANEL and "Addons" menu then download the laters CCCAM. Install the download by following the onscreen prompts.

Then also download the useful plugin "CCcaminfo". Install the download by following the onscreen prompts.

Now in the BLUE PANEL change the "Common Interface" to the new CCCAM. Then you will need to make changes to the "Cccam.cfg" file to allow any "shares" that you have entitlements to.

Next is to go to "Menu" then "Satellite Configuration" to set up the satellite and LNB settings, don't forget to go to the LNB settings and also the second page of this menu to select the corrcet "DiSEqC Mode" of "Version 1.1" then save all settings. Next go to "Service searching" and to select the satellites that your dish is pointing to, then "Automatic Transponder Scan" to begin the channel downloading.

Never, ever put a Gemini image on a Dreambox clone, it's just asking for trouble.

Even old Gemini images released before they added the killer box destroying virus can no longer be trusted as no one knows what other time bombs lie deep inside.

As the o/p (original poster) hasn't confirmed which model does he have (S or C), it would be better to wait with the solutions until he does.

Did you follow the procedure:

1) disconnect ALL cables from DM500S.
2) Connect ONLY the Serial cable then click the "Connect" button of Dream up.
3) Only then should you power up your DM500S box.
4) Select Flash image and select the image that you want to load on to your box.
