My System: I have a dreambox 500, and an AMD 4gb ram. | Hi, I seem to be having problems watching channels on Dreamview and Web X-TV. After sometime watching a channel, it starts producing lines of rubbish (lighter than supposed lines/ green) and the audio gets garbled a bit. When I re-press the channel and therefore loads again, this problem goes away for a few minutes. Also I do not always get the channel to stream. I have to sometimes double-click on the channel a couple of times before connecting. What can I do to resolve the problem? My dreambox is DM500 I have added a screenshot of the above problem

Does this happen on all channels or only on the Mediaset channels? I have a 1.6m and sometimes I get pixelization from Mediaset. So it could be related to the signal strength due to a small dish.

My System: I have a dreambox 500, and an AMD 4gb ram. | My dish size is small however on the TV, it doesn't pixelize, only when streaming to my computer. The problem is also evident on all the channels I tried including MTV Europe, SKY Italia, French Channels and all.

| The channels you mentioned are probably opened using CS. Could be a problem from the provider and not your system. | |||

My System: DM 600-S, AB IPBox 9000HD, Moteck SG2100, Fracarro Penta 85 dish, + some puters | I'm not familiar with DreamView and so, cant be sure exactly what you are doing but, If its a streaming problem and nothing to do with CS as HB13 suggests, I would recommend you use VLC. I find VLC is by far the best app I've used for streaming from the dreambox, You cant change channels with it, but you can use the webIF for that.

My System: I have a dreambox 500, and an AMD 4gb ram. | Yes it does pixelate all channels. However as compufunk suggested it should be a streaming problem, as the problem is only seen on the computer, while not on the TV. (the TV being connected from Dreambox by Scart and the computer by the LAN). However Dreamview is just a sort of user friendly program that incorporates VLC and also channel switching. I.E. you switch channels and it loads VLC in the program as a plugin to stream the channel. I have tried with various versions of VLC but the problem always remains.

My System: TM 1500 CI+ with Diablo 2.3, DM500, TM motor, 1db LNB on 80cm dish. 55E to 15W then trees | If streaming is important and you are prepared to try a different image I have found Pli Jade to work far better at streaming than any other. It uses a built-in app 'Zapstream' to do the job and you can use either WebX TV from the web interface or VLC.
