Password and loading keys problem

Hello i am a new user of Dreambox.I live in Denmark.I have a Dreambox 500s .I get the box from one of my frnd.i can't give much detail about this because the setup menu is pasword protected and i don't get pasword 4m my frnd.Now i want to flash it using pc to Reload new system.how can i do it?i also want to get all pay chanel from hotbirt 13 Plz give detail data.

To do anything with your Dreambox you really need the password, why can you not get it from your friend?

Unless you join a card share ring, you will not get all of the pay channels on Hotbird.

You need a null modem cable to flash it. You will lose all your current settings.

Details are in the idiot's Guide. Use the HackSat key updater to add keys to your Dreambox, although very little is open.
