Can someone tell me what is the difference in Emulators & Plugin. I have some idea about plugin but what Emulators do in Dream box? | ||

| As the 500S doesn't have a CI CAM slot (only a smartcard reader), it is necessary to install emulator so that an official subscription card would open the channels. In addition, it will help to open compromised encrypted channels. Plugins are useful applications to enhance the funtionality of the receiver. For example: Tuxmail would enable you to receive simple e-mail messages. Teletext plugin would let you browse the teletext pages, if transmitted with a specific channel. | |||
