Anything open these days?

Hi again all,
I've been abroad for the last 6 months and have returned home to find plenty of black channels. No surprise there as my 500 hasn't been touched in that time, but can anyone tell me if there's anything openable, preferably on 19E, but anything, and anywhere within the range of my minidish would do.
I have the 500s, a minidish, an old Gemini image, and I used to use the Satan files (manually installed).
I figured asking the question here first might save me the time of doing all the updates and re-flashing, and I seem to remember that the previously opened channels were changing their encryption methods around the new year. I'm not sure if these new methods have been overcome.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply.
Would my minidish pick up this sat? I'm on the south coast, near Brighton.
And would the latest Gemini image work too? And with what cam?
Finally, would the Satan key bundle work too?
I've not yet gotten into key updaters or cs so it would be nice to know what is needed.
I did see in a search that DigiTV will be black soon too, but if it's fairly easy for me to tune in, I'll give it a go.

If your 500S is a clone, you are advised not to flash it with Gemini if you want to keep it alive.

1W, spot 3, I'd say for good reception a 60cm/80cm required given your location.

I live near Brighton and you will not get good results with a mini dish - i have tried - you may get the odd transponder but not much.. Maybe a zone 2 or 60cm dish will get most digitv channels but best to go for a 80cm dish...why not forget keys and investigate cccam a bit more and you can open whatever you like

Thanks again all,
my DB isn't a clone so flashing Gemini isn't a problem. However getting a bigger dish is at the the moment.
I did try already to find 1W, but with no success, so I'm resigned to the black screen for now.
It's not a problem as I'll be off abroad again in a couple of weeks and the football season is winding down, so I can look into it again when I return in several months. Hopefully by then there'll be more choice.
As for cccam, isn't that obtainable from the blue button? I'm sure it's one I've got on there now (yet out of date as is the image). I had thought the keys used in conjunction with the cams was unlocking before, not just the cams alone. I am a novice so please understand if my comments are naive
And another naive comment; can the diablo cam be used with the DB500? Doesn't it need a different slot?
