hi just purchased a dreambox clone just wondered whats the best image to install as iv heard gemini can cause problems

Personally I'd say Nabilosat Darkstar II. Its clone safe and has plenty of features.

The DM 500 is an Enigma 1 box. There may be E2 images available for it, but I dont know if they are clone friendly.

I've found that E2 images loaded on my DM600 (An E1 box like the DM500) didnt perform well. The hardware was just not up to it.

You'll find that most of the available images for the DM500 (Nabilo, Pli, Gemini etc) will all be E1 images.
