Connecting 2 boxes together with 1 card

I have a showtime card and would like to know the best way to share this card between 2 boxes in the same house I think this is legal?.
The dreambox 500s seems the cheapest boxes to buy but what else would I need and how easy is it to do?.

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

Assuming you've set them both up so they work correctly you'd need to install CCcam on both Dreamboxes (both connected to a router) and set one Dreambox up as the server and the other as the client (friend).

This is assuming that CCcam can read a Showtime card.

Have you got already two boxes with Irdeto support or just one?
To avoid investing in two new Dreamboxes, you might find a wireless distribution card system cheaper.
They should work with Irdeto, but not NDS.
Something like this, but you might find cheaper solution if you look harder.
Haven't used them myself, unfortunately so I can't give you any recommendations.

Here is the website for SmartWi

_http://www.smartwi.net/sols.html

Distributor in UK Pulsat (3 rooms 150 Pounds)
I have seen it in Europe for 120 Euro, and for 2 rooms 104 Euro)
Need to add shipment cost from Europe.

You need to make a decision based on the cost of buying 2x Dreambox 500S (should work according to mhku), or buy the SmartWi distribution cards + a second receiver similar to the one that you have already (assuming that you have only one receiver).

I doubt if you will get a reply from here, as Dreambox solution seems to be quite popular.
I am waiting for you to take the plunge and give us your review.
The link I gave you above shows a Forum button.
You can join and see any information regarding Irdeto support, or post your questions. Your aim should be on how to get the best price for a two room solution. You can always add another card if you need it for a third room.
Also if this will work well in your receiver model.
It's your money and your decision if you want to take the risk.
