Help! -Channels without audio

Hello there,
I recently noticed that the sound from some of my channels was on the low side, in fact I had to raise the tv and sat box to full volume to enjoy a movie.
I have a an eaglebox DM500 with Nabilsat software installed CCCam 2.0.11
So I decided to try some meddling. I went on one channel and pressed menu, then setup, system settings, a/v settings
There I found a screen and two of the options which were unchecked were Disable WSS on 4:3 and AC3 default output.
Knowing AC3 is related to audio I decided to check that option. Suddenley this channel had no sound! All other channels had sound. I unchecked it back so to revert to previous settings but the channel is still without sound. I experimented with 3 more channels and the same happened. Now I have 4 channels which I love watching without sound. I tried restarting the box but to no avail. I also disconnected from electricity but nothing.
Help!

I thought WSS = wide screen?

Untick AC3 default unless your TV has an AC3 compatible amplifier it it.

Some channels have more than one audio stream. Press the audio button and if more than one audio stream is shown- select another one.

Thanks for your reply.

The AC3 I already switched off but to no avail. When I am back home I will check the audiostreams of the channels in question and get back to you

Thanks

The 500s doesn't have an audio button. You need to set the yellow button to Audio in

Blue panel > quickbutton setup > audio

The actual wording in your menu options may be different.
