Considering a 500 + Sky Deutschland subscription

Hi,

currently I have a Humax HD1000 box and I am considering getting a Sky Deutschland (Premiere) subscription. I understand that they now use NDS Videoguard and that the card will be paired to my box.

I would also like to use this card upstairs. My thinking is that I could buy a DM500 and in the cccam config specify the serial number of my Humax in order to use the Sky card. I am not sure if this would work. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and is feasible before I go and splash out?

Premiere NDS cards as far as i know have to be paired to a proprietry Sky Germany Digibox in much the same way as Sky UK has to be paired to a Sky UK Digibox.

There is no such thing as an NDS cam, it has to be paired with a Sky receiver

As far as i am aware Sky Germany NDS cards will work ok in a Dreambox as do the Sky Germany Betacrypt cards. No idea if this is the case with the Nagra3 cards though
