My System: Dreambox DM500s |
Hi, I recently changed my dreambox while leaving the same dish and motor. So i spent a lot of time searching and storing the satellites positions in the service searching-motor setup section. I was wondering if there is maybe some file in the receiver that stores the satellites positions and tells the motor where to turn? If there is, can I copy it to my PC and if I flash my dreambox at certain point, put it in the receiver and skipping the manual searching problem? Thanks | ||

| Look for /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/config file. The Diseqc settings are in the line starting with s:/elitedvb/DVB/config/lnbs/0/RotorTable | ||

| Yes it works but you have to follow the right command sequence. I suggest you copy the config file to your PC after setting up all your rotor positions. Then if you have to do a restore ask again for advice if you get stuck. | ||
