My System: Phoenix Apollo receiver, 90cm dish, single lnb
Multiple sat search with Dreambox 500

Hi just got a dreambox 500s, gonna add it to a Cm dish 1.2m with Actuator when my wireless device comes for it, but I was just having a little play with it, and wanted to know, am I able to search mulitple sats at once for tv channels from a fixed dish? or can I only pick one sat to search? I have a phoenix apolla and I search and pick up a cluster of sats as you all know, 19.2 28.2 etc

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

You can only do a search for channels on the satellite the dish is pointing at at that time. Searching another satellite may give you channels as the frequencies and settings are re-used across the arc, but they will be the same channels you have already found

No read my previous post again that is not possible you can only pick up the satellite channels from the satellite your dish is pointing at unless you have monobloc lnb's or multiple lnb's. Scanning another satellite will not give you different channels
