Think I f**k up my power supply for my dreambox 500s, funny thing happened , when I got it last week, I plugged the 2 pin into a 3 pin mains adptor (shaving only one) work fine then the next morning got up looked and the box was off....eh?, unplugged it, then re-plugged it back in northing no green light on the power supply, oh no!!, so got the 3 pin mains adaptor from the missus toothbrush charger and the same thing happened to that yesterday ( she was not happy) tried looking for a new 1A fuse no joy, (she went mad!!!), so I took a two pin to 3 pin lead from my printer, the problem then I plugged it in and the dreambox power supply went pop !!!!
so can I use a new power supply 12v 2A or would it be safe to use 12v 5A and no blow the mother board up !!!
