cccam folder not in var/etc help please!

Using gemini & dcc I can connect to the dm but I need a cccam folder in ftp/var/etc & it's just not there how do I get it there ?

I have been trying for hours anyone any ideas please?

Have you installed a version of ccam onto the box via the blue panel? That should put the correct folders in place. It did when I did it on my 7020 long ago.

As Analoguesat says, installing from the blue panel will put everything in place for you.

On any systems I've used, CCcam.cfg is stored under /etc. There was no CCcam folder.

(/var/etc is just a symlink to /etc)

yes i tried 2 different ones from the blue panel & it said it was running but I need somewhere to put a line & have been informed its in this location?

You put your lines in a file called CCcam.cfg. You should find it under /etc.

Its worth reading through the contents of CCcam.cfg. It explains quite a lot.

for some reason on my main pc in dcc there is no .cfg but on my laptop its there???

very strange... still aslong as I get the job done...

The ccc config is an extra file, doesn´t come with ccc all the time.
Grab any on the net and edit it then put it in etc and reboot
