I'm using a 500T and the latest Dream Multimedia image and when I stream from the browser with VLC the stream runs ok for a few minutes and then starts getting a constant glitch in the stream. Changing the buffer size really high helps and it sometimes runs for up to 20 minutes before it apparently requests too much data or something and starts glitching. once started the only way to fix it is to restart the stream. I previously did the exact same thing with my 500S but it streamed perfectly. Is there something different in the stream the 500T sends that is inadequate ? Is there anything I can adjust on the Dreambox end to improve the streaming, ie scale down or drop frames etc

welcome to the forum pawzlion Is your DVBT input signal sufficiently continuous?, are you perhaps experiencing a momentary loss of signal due to interference from something starting up? that could be the cause of this glitch as even increasing buffer size will not overcome a momentary loss of signal.

My System: Dreambox 500S, mac pro | Yes I think my signal is continuous. When I watch it on the TV I get no glitches, and when I record with NGrab it records fine. Only streaming is affected. Increasing the buffer makes it run longer without glitching, but once it starts, it continues until you restart the stream, then it'll be good for another 5 minutes or so.
