I have an original DM600PVR and I am trying to find out what version of enigma it is running. I read several threads mentioning that certain images are for enigma ver x.x and I need to know what version I have before I commit an update. Whan I point my browser to the DM box and click on the help button I get: Linux KernelLinux version 2.6.12 (ghost@Client) (gcc version 3.4.4) #1 Mon Jul 2 18:45:13 CEST 2007 Firmware: Unknown Help anyone? thx aussie  | ||

It should give you the firmware version. From the code shown I can only make an educated guess that it is version 3.4.4 | |||

My System: DM 600-S, AB IPBox 9000HD, Moteck SG2100, Fracarro Penta 85 dish, + some puters | Most of the DM-600 images, including the Gemini images are Enigma 1 based, There is also an Enigma 2 based test image available on the IHAD database, Thats the only E2 image that I am aware of. Just to clarify, Enigma is not the image, Enigma is a Layer of software that runs on an image, be it Gemini, Nabilo, Pli or whatever. It handles the front end,(menus, etc) among other things. So the answer is, You are most likely running Enigma 1 | ||
