Server Listen Port.

I have a DB600 how can I save my SERVER LISTEN PORT to a different port than 12000 & how do I do this?

in the cccam.cfg file you will see a line that looks like this

#SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000

To change the port all you do is change the number and remove the hash.

If you want to use say for example port no 12345 you change the line to the following

SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12345

Make sure you remove the hash at the start of the line or your receiver will just ignor the line and continue using port 12000 e

You will neeed to use a program like Crimson Editor to change the lines as this is usually more sucessful than using wordpad

By the way Crimson editor is free if you google it You can also use Dreambox control center which you will find over at IHAD

Do I change anything in my router settings?

You need to open the same port on your router as in your config file.

Make sure you assign the correct port to the correct ip address otherwise it won't work

The IP address would be the IP of the Dreambox if you are sharing?
