Post What does this stand for?

Hey, I have just bought a DreamBox 7000 - installed Gemini 4.2.

When I was zapping over the channels on Astra (DE) I started wondering about what the thing in the down left corner was standing for.

What is B, I, S, V, N, CW, ND and CO ? and what do I need to decrypt it ?

I do have a legal Sat Card from my provider, but the screen is just black.

Sorry for my bad English

They're encryption systems (Biss, Nagravision, Seca and so on. You are receiving a Conax (CO) encrypted channel. Can't help as to why your card isn't decrypting it - subscription out of date?

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Make sure that you have uploaded an emulator like CCcam, if you haven't then your card won't work. You do this via the Blue button.

The colour is important.
When you have an official smartcard, the colour changes to Green, indicating that it has successfully decrypted the channel, and the character indicates the encrypted system used.

Thanx everybody.

When I see N and V it turns green, and the pictuer is on.

Now I will try to install the CCcam on the DreamBox...

Thanx again. I return when I know if it works
