Gemini 4.5.0 Image

Is there a Gemini 4.5.0 image for Dreambox?
I can see it for 600pvr, but no idea if it is suitable for 7000S.
Have they stopped the support for 7000S?
Please give a link to a download site without the need to register.
Thanks.

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

I installed Gemini 4.50 on my 7020 last weekend and after a few hours installed 4.0 instead- FTP and telnet daemons did not start even after rebooting, which makes the box useless.

You can download it from IHAD (the Gemini team) . Or from:

Thanks mhku.
I found it from another website and am just about to (hopefully not) kill my box.
Wish me luck.

Just finished installing Gemini 4.5.0 and everything seems to be OK.
No problem with FTP. Didn't try telnet daemons.
Looks great with an added Devices Manager showing all the connected devices.
Also an improved Information menu.
Had a bit of problem with the USB stick, but after reboot I got the var move menu.
Did you flash the image for 7000 or one for 7020?

Well, to be frank - I donīt trust Gemini anymore.

They did what they did to the 500 clones

God knows what they will do next.

The net is loaded with new fresh images so why support them ?

I like Gemini a lot and they seem to be trying very hard to give support to an even old model like 7000S.
The latest image is absolutely brilliant and just solved my problem with recording to a USB stick and I suppose also to a USB portable disk.
Quite frankly, I don't care about what they did to the clones and I am glad they did.
It takes millions (USD, Euro, Pounds, Yen) to develop any electronic device and when another company (or companies) ride on their success and just copy it and use even cheaper parts to make it, well I feel that they deserve some sort of retaliation.
