My System: Home | I'm keen to get one of the dreamboxes as a friend of mine has one and it looks very impressive, however he is not into his sport which is something that i am very much into. I was wondering what types of sport i can get on it ? motorsport, football, rugby.... Specifically too can i get the Lions Rugby Matches this summer with one ?? many thanks Chris.

My System: DreamBox 7000s - Nokia Freeview - Several GameBoys - DS Lite - ZX81 - SNES - N64 - Sega Saturn Dreamcast - PlayStation - Gamecube - PSP - iPod - iPhone - XBox - PS3 - Wii - No Life! | As you know the Dreambox has the ability to use software to make encrypted channels available that would normally require other hardware or smart cards. So, the answer to your questions is that with the right set-up it can receive all the channels available. If you choose to subscribe to the packages you can use Cards and CAMs. Or you can use software to emulate the systems. The second option is hit or miss as codes change and therefore access is not guaranteed. Most sports can be found somewhere - if you have a large dish a motor and a clear south facing line of sight of the Clark belt. Don't know who is covering the Rugby if it's exclusive to Sky then you'll have to buy a card!

My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2 | Plenty of football (inc Prem) last season, and plenty of motorsport. I don't know what 'rugby' is? Is it anything like cricket, 'cos I don't know what that is either!
