Transfering setting from image to image

QUESTION:

I have a motorised diseq setup on my dreambox and postions are stored for each satellite if I boot to another im image I don't have the channels from my previous image and the positions.

I have to start from scratch, how can I fix this problem regarding having postions stored on to other images without searching for astra hotbird by moving my dish

ANSWER:

1. Set up one image with all your satellite settings.
2. Using Flash Wizard 5 delete all multiboot images except the one you have set with satellite settings.
3. Ensure the image with the satellite settings is the active image on the Dreambox.
4. Ensure the 'smart copy settings' box in Flash Wizard 5 is checked.
5. Using Flash Wizard 5, re-install your multiboot images and the settings will be copied from the active image.
6. All your multiboot images now have the same settings.

My System: DB7000S HDD USB2GB; 2CM120+Norsat4106Afor HH&7707AforVH on 7°W; Triax 2X110, 1X88 and 1X64. LNBFs: 2BESTQ, 2InvacomQ; 3XAlps, 2Inverto(1Q), 3XBEST; Switches and M/S; Centauri P-168. 30w, 8w, 5w , 1w, 5e, 9e, 16e, 23e, 28e; 13E, 19E; 26E

On my Dreambox 7000S;
I am running gemini 4.0 var on USB but no multiboot.
I would like to upgrade to a newer image.
Problem is that I am on GBOX cardsharing and do not want to lose this functionality.
Furthermore I have complicated settings, very time consuming to reinstall.
I have Flashwizard 6.3.
Any practical recommendation?
Is there a step by step tutorial somewhere?
Thanks
