Question DM7000 Network Interface Issue

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if there is a hardware or software mod out there to stabilise the network port on a rev. 1 DM7000 (blue screen)?
I have an issue with the port locking up if I try to copy a file OFF the box - usually after 10Mb or so has copied.
I can copy files ONTO the box all day long without issue!
Infact I use my friendly uTorrent client to get most TV progs from the US, copy them onto the DB and watch them in 5.1 this way.

The base image (installed using FWPRO 6.3) is the latest CVS image from IHAD. The main image is Gemini 3.4 (whatever the latest is!). The front panel firmware is at 1.6.

Once the port has locked the ONLY way to reset it is to manually change its IP setting to a different address and back again.

Google returns zillions of 7020 network issues but nothing about the 7000!

Whose been saying I'm paranoid?

Should not be any ip problems with the 7x00

U sure U set it up properly ?

Checked that U got a good Mac addy and saved that ?

(I take it for granted that U run a router system)

The annoying thing is that everything else works OK.
e.g. I use DreamVCR to set/edit recordings, WSFTP to copy files TO the DB, streaming to dreamTV is OK, etc.
It just crashes after 20-30Mb when when I copy files off... .

I'm guessing it is a HW issue as this is a VERY early revision box.
I'll try knocking up a copy program that throttles the data flow and see if that helps.
