I'm back, can you tell me which folder you put mgcamd in as my m8s
DM500-S needs upgraded to mgcam 1.26 please,

Mgcamd has several files:
/var/keys - SoftCam.Key, AutoRoll.Key & mg_cfg
/var/bin - mgcamd.ppc

CS and AU files in /var/keys

7020 were is "/var/" put "/usr/"

Yes, you are correct, there are a lot of files in MGCAMD 1.26, which is the best way to install all the files into a Dreambox 500-S? your help would be most appreciated,

Best way to put emu files in db 500 is from link, donwload link, that your image, like Gemini 4.20, for exemple, has - assuming your box is connected to the net.

Another way - Use DCC, connect to dream and copy files, or by a ftp program like total commander ou any other.
