Help needed organising channels

Folks, been using a 7020 for about a month now and all is working fine. Trouble is I have let the wife loose on it and she is having trouble selecting the channels she wants. Some channel numbers have 4 digits and the system will only take 3 so is there a way of setting up favourites etc to make it easy for her. I am familiar with using the satellites.xml file with Dreamedit if that's any use.

My System: 1.2M & 90cm and 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, Dream box 7000,160Gb HD,7025 200gb HD, Vbox-II. SS2 Card. 42" Plasma tv.

Use a channel setting like captains, he has a very easy list to use, the mrs and kids have no problems navagating with his channel settings.

My System: I bet on red. If I lose, I double the bet on red again. I continue with this until I lost everything.

Muhuhuhahahahahaaaaarrrgggh

Use the Dreamboxedit program to set up folders with your favourite channels. You can also use the program to back up after you have scanned a sat.
See the Idiot Guide and other threads for details.

My System: Dream7020 and lots of junk all over the place

Yes, dreamedit will do it for You.

Just download the sats from the dreambox, then U can edit, sort and make many folders for the family.

When U are done just upload Your new settings to the box and then it is there, under the blue button.

Latest version, just Google dreamedit !

My System: Dreambox 800 Nabilo Blackhole v0.3/250 Gig/ Dreambox 500s-(clone) PLi Jade/ Relook 400s 160 Gig-/AbCom Enigma Foretec 90cm Dish with Nikkai Diseqc Motor- 2 sky+ receivers fixed 28.2 east.

I was in the same boat m8, i was able to find and watch what I wanted, so where my litle uns but it was all gobbledegook to the Mrs. But she is up n running too now since i found the PET 123 Channel settings. These are all in english and has all the main Sky UK Groupings. ie Music, Sport Movies, Kids etc sub grouped. If you put a Pli image on your box it can be downloaded direct to the box from the blue button. Select software management-Downloads-Channel Settings-PET123-Pet 123 Rotating(latest). If you do not want to put the PLi image just use Dreambox Edit to put it on after downloading it to your pc.
