My System: Dreambox / Motorised 88cm
Question DM7020 and Technomate 2200 Motor

Hi just a quick question I have recently upgraded to a DM7020 and a triax 88cm with a Technomate 2200 motor. I been into the game for quite a while but dont really know much about motorised motors.

I use to have a technomate 1000d connected and the motor usuals settings was 0.4 West and 53.7 North. (Fairly easy to enter on the tm)

But in my dreambox im not sure how to put em in

this is how i put them in my dm 7020 (see screenshot)

0.004 West
53.007 North

I want to know have they been put in correctly???? Plz see photo

Does motor input power have to be on aswell??

coz i have to move the dish a bit right to get mad tv and gnet working on 39e using the DM coz they break up everything else seems to work fine.

But when I connect my TM 1000d mad and gnet work on 39e with no breakup. I have done go to refence on the technomate to 0 and on the dreambox and drive to 0 - to make sure the motor isnt out.

Also what does recalculate do on the dreambox with a motor??

The dreambox works no way as well with my motor as the technomate but its a dream watching all the channels my TM cant get

kind regards - sorry for bad english

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

0.400 West

53.700 North

The reason why 39E is out is because your Longitude is 0.400 - 0.004 = 0.396 degrees out .............

Longitude accuracy and precision is far more critical than Latitude.
