You are right to use the blue button. It appears that you are now on target to receive the prize for the most newcomers posts in a month (Rolfw please confirm, nearly100 in 30 days.worrying aint it?)). On my 7020s from the Web, with blue panel/addons/download and install/cam/, I got today 2006-06-04 11h30 this list: Camd 3.869-Complete Camd 3.868-Complete Camd 3.820-Complete CCcam1.1.0 Camx 31.05.06 dccamd Dream Biss - 21.03.05 Evocamd-2.09 Complete MPCardserver 0.8i (bin) Newcamd v.6.10b - Complete Newcamd v.6.10a - Complete NewCS_1.16 (bin) Radegast 4 Beta_47 Ronald / Sharing (bin) SCAM 2.5- Complete SCAM 12.09.04 After using Newcamd I start using Camd. It has a faster zap and only one file of k**s ( in var/k**s/camd3.k**s) easy to edit. | ||

Hi, Trying to stream from my PC to Dreambox (7020) with no success. I setup the parameters in Enigma web for streaming and enter the right IP (192.168.1.9) for my PC and the right drive letter for dvd. I start DVD on the PC by pressing DVD button in the Enigma Web, which actually launches VLC and starts the DVD. At this stage, according to instructions, my TV should start showing the streamed DVD. It doesn't. I've also installed Dreambox Links Web Browser that can connect to 192.168.1.9:8080 which is the web inf front end for the VLC streamer, and which confirms that that the DVD is being played. So my DB can actually see 192.168.1.9 and also can see a VLC Web Inf output. Installed pligin VLCF which when started reports that "NO CONNECTION TO VLC SERVER AVAILABLE" Does anyone know what is going on or how can I see/debug why there is no connection? If I was to start another VLC on a different PC, what do I need to do to attach to the stream from 192.168.1.9? Do we know what sort of stream is initiated on VLC by Enigma Web (upd, http, ....)? I have tried various images but it made no difference. Thanks in advance, Vladimr P.S. this is my first post so if I'm at the wrong place, please let me know | ||

Dishes for Nilesat + Hotbird with lnb's for BADR and Eurobird 9 | Since my previous post I have got the 7020Si up and running with both cards installed. I tried several cams before it really worked. Here are my experiences. CCcam, Camd3, CamX, OpenCam and Rqcamd - Do not recognise smart cards at all. Dccamd and Newcamd work with Irdeto, but not Viaccess. Evocamd works with Viaccess and not Irdeto. Mgcamd works with both, but needs frequent resets I ended up with scam, which is the most reliable. I also have evocamd loaded for soft decryption with downloaded keys. All the versions I tried are the latest, downloaded direct to the box using the remote control. | ||

As requested cams and smart cards on Gemini (7020) Scam recognises the Irdeto and Viaccess cards and decodes signals correctly Cccam 2.0.11 recognises Viaccess, but not Irdeto Camd 3.902, Evocam 2.17, Newcam Spider 6.01b, and Rqcamd 1.08 all fail to see either card. All cams loaded off the Gemini site with the remote control. Leaving aside cams I prefer Pli Jade. The multiple channel EPG is great and so is the MoviePlayer permiting streaming of films from my PC over the network | ||

 I think that it would be beneficial to name the specific cards used, otherwise readers would think that this is what will happen to any other Irdeto or Viaccess cards that they might use. | |||
