Default language on channels.

Is it possible to set the dreambox so english is always the chosen audio language instead of having to change it all the time when there are multiple choices ?

My System: Dream7020 and AZ Elite

Depends on the setup

U have anything like Bullz text or Gsub working ?

If so 1. Set the both to English

or 2. Disabled them

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

There's a plugin:

addons > download > plugins > setup language 1.0

You can set your default language with this. Failing that use the audio quickbutton.

My System: Dreambox DM 7020 with the following feeds: Eurobird (28.2°E), Astra (19.2°E), Hot Bird (13.0E), Sirius (5.0°E), Thor (1.0°W)

this can be done thru the web interface. Click Config, then Settings. There is an Audio Channels Priority thing there: "Specifies the priority of audio channels [...] When zapped to a tv channel, the audio channel (if available) will be selected with this priority."

To make English Audio of channel as default setting do this

1. Go to Web Interface (type ip of dreambox in your internet browser)
2. Click on Config
3. Then click on Settings
4. Find where there is Audio Channels Priority and paste this in box found just under

English#Englisch#dos#haa#qaa#org#ORY

5. Reboot from remote control

On your computer, open Firefox.

Type in the IP address of your Dreambox. Follow the instructions in post #6

Looks rather long winded. I will have a look when I have a moment. But, BTW is it possible to use IE to get to the Dreambox via IP address or does it have to be Firefox? Thanks.

IE will probably work as well - try it. If that sounds long winded perhaps a Dreambox isn't for you - it takes about 10 seconds.
