Changing PID

There's one channel on Astra 2 (At The Races) where my 7025 picks the wrong PID - it chooses 0206 when it should be 0208,and so you get sound but no picture.

This is a known problem with this channel for many Linux boxes.

In my Mutant, it's easy for me to change the PID and therefore get the picture.

I can't find out how to do this on my DB7025 with Gemini 2,4. It's probably something simple, but I can't find it.

So how can you change the PID?

Thanls LLew - my Mutant can change VPID quite happily; it's just the DB that's the problem.

Replay 2, any software in particular - I basically don't have any DB PC software as it's all for Windows and I use mainly Linux.

I too have this problem with at the races.....its impossible, tried several 500s boxes, but to no unvail.....

you can select the video option with the blue button and u have the option between 0206 and 0208...0208 works but its interactive, the main channel just doesnt work.

Its annoying as hell as it works no problem on technomate 9100

"Dreambox Edit" is the name of the software I use. I think it could serve you. You can find it here among other utilities.
See attached screen shot of the software. It runs on Windows

I've managed this using Dreamset software, which was recommended to me in another forum.

I'll have to give Dreambox Edit a try as well, because I'm not too happy with Dreamset.

I have a laptop with XP - I'm using that. Why aren't utilities forLinux receivers written for Linux?
