My System: Dreambox 500, Dreambox 600PVR, Dreambox 7025+, Dreambox 7000, 1m dish on a Moteck SG2100

Are you connected by scart or by RF?

I have found that some images come set with the wrong audio frequency for UK RF.

My System: Dreambox with router and pc

Does it do to all the services or only specific ones?
When you connect the 500s, is it with the same scart as the 7025?

Could be the scart cable has a problem. If its the same cable check your tv settings for any downmix. As for the frequency BonceChops mentioned, use the B/G instead of the I works for Cyprus.

Also, change the setting for audio on dreambox by going to
main menu -> setup -> system -> A/V Settings ->

AC3 default set to 'No'
AC3 downmix set to 'Yes'

You can also try a different image, if still a problem get another 7025 test it with the Tv (your 7025 could be faulty).

Well

They are different versions of the PAL system. The sound channels for the different versions of PAL have different sub carrier frequencies and TV's are manufactured and setup according to their final destination, often you can swap between different PAL systems from the TV setup menu
